Costache Negri Flooding

After the devastating floods in the Costache Negri region in 2024, many families were left with nothing. Their homes were damaged or completely destroyed, and all their belongings fell victim to the masses of water. During this difficult time, we, the "Hands of Mercy of Saron" association, have made it our mission to support the people affected and give them hope.

We were on the ground to provide urgently needed aid. Together with dedicated volunteers, we distributed food and clothing and spoke to the people affected by this disaster. Their stories are moving and show how urgently support is needed.

In a meeting with the municipality and the mayor of Costache Negri, we discussed the current situation in detail. It became clear that direct communication with the residents is essential in order to understand their actual needs and provide targeted help. Our aim is not only to provide immediate aid, but also to create long-term solutions - in particular by building new houses for the families who have lost everything.
