A piece of land and sanitary facilities
for school children in India

At the end of January 2025, we were in Bangalore and Tiruchirappalli in India and were confronted with challenging living conditions that moved us deeply. Many children have no safe schools, no sanitary facilities and often not even a home. Orphans and children from extremely poor families who grow up without a permanent home are particularly affected. Without protection, education and basic hygiene, they have little chance of a better future.

These children urgently need safe school rooms and sanitary facilities so that they can learn and grow up in dignified conditions. Our vision is to acquire a piece of land and build a school with sanitary facilities there - a place that provides education, safety and hope.

But together we can change that!

With the "Hope for Schoolchildren" project, we want to build safe accommodation with classrooms, sanitary facilities and sleeping places so that these children can learn, grow and live in dignity.

Our measures

✅ Purchase of a 1.75 hectare plot of land for school & accommodation
✅ Construction of a school building with classrooms & common rooms
✅ Construction of clean sanitary facilities with separate toilets for boys & girls
✅ Drinking water supply through wells & water treatment
✅ Dormitories with beds, living rooms and lounges & furniture for children who have no home

Construction costs for school & residential building: 160,000 euros
Construction of sanitary facilities & toilets: 40,000 euros
