💔 The need is great - especially for families with many children
In various rural regions of Romania, many families live in extremely difficult conditions. Especially after the severe flooding in 2024, many people are left with nothing. Houses were damaged, clothes and food were washed away, children have no school materials - and many parents do not know how to feed their children.

The worst affected are large families, single mothers and older people with no pension entitlement. In some households, 6-8 children live under one roof - often without heating, electricity or hot food.

🧡 Personal commitment on site
I, Cristian Bancila, chairman of the association "Hands of Mercy of Saron e. V.", was on the road with my team in March and October 2024 as well as in March 2025 in Romania - in the regions Oravița, Costache Negri, Teleorman, Bistrița etc.

Together with local partners, volunteers and mayors, I distributed food, clothing, shoes and blankets to families in need. I visited their homes, spoke to people, saw their tears - and above all, felt their gratitude.

These experiences have touched me deeply and show how great the need is - but also how much hope is created when people are there for each other.
